Description:

Cala Llombards is the mouth of the torrent of Son Amer, located at 2,1 nautical miles from Port de Cala Figuera de Santanyí and 4,4 nautical miles from Port Marina de Cala d’Or, between Cala Santanyí and Caló den Ferrà.

This quiet white sandy area, which continues for many metres towards the interior, until the pine wood by which it is limited, is surrounded by very high and steep cliffs. It is 55 meters long and 150 meters wide.

One of the highlights of Cala Llombards is the excellent panoramic view from the mythical geological feature of es Pontàs (big bridge in English), a rock which has been eroded by the waves that seems a bridge in the sea. There are also some escars in the cliffs, used by the fishers to keep their boats.

Anchoring: Cala Llombards is an excellent alternative to Cala Santanyí for anchoring boats on days with wind blowing from the south and southeast, on a sandy ground, at a depth that ranges from six metres in the entrance to three in the interior.

Ideal place for practicing water sports.
