Description:

Cala Mendia is situated at 1,5 nautical miles from Port de Portocristo and between Cala Anguila and Cala s’Estany den Mas.
The cliffs guard the surroundings of this sea inlet which continues for 150 metres towards the interior and finishes on a fine-grained, white sandy area, wide and large. Its length is 120 meters and its width 55 meters.

Cala Mendia has a natural swimming basin of white and blue colours when the wind blows from the north, northwest or west and it is the starting point to swim until the nearby Cala Anguila, passing the rocky headland which divides them.

Anchoring: The beach is open to the winds from the northeast and east, with an excellent sandy ground for anchoring boats. The depth ranges from four metres at 150 metres from the coast to 2,7 metres at a hectometre from the beach, and only one metre at 50 metres from the coast. We advise to anchor in a depth of 3-5 meters on a sandy bottom.

Once anchored, it is advisable to do any water sport. You can also go till Cala s’Estany with kayak or dinghy.
