Description:

At 5.9 nautical miles from Port de Pollença we find this spectacular sea inlet. It introduces about 180 meters inland (the width of the entrance is 150 meters), ending in a semicircular beach, where also a torrent flows into the sea. The cliffs create the margins, on the right there is an oaks forest and on the left  there is the rural estate of Cala Murta and the Oratory of the Mare de Deu de Formentor, both surrounded by pine trees.

Anchoring: The sea conditions make this inlet a great anchorage place, as it is very safe from the winds of the North. It is important to be careful of  the winds of E and W. Anchor between 3 and 6 meters in a ground of rock and sand. The environment is appropiate for diving activities due to the brightness of its waters.
