Description:

Its Roman name refers to Bocchor, nucleus of the utmost importance of the area together with Pollentia documented by Pliny (first century BC). Located at 15 nautical miles from Port de Pollença and at 22 from Port de Soller.

This amazing and rugged sea inlet continues for 300 meters towards the interior with impressives cliffs of limestone and free of vegetation. On its western side stands the mountain range Cavall Bernat, with heights of 360 meters, which falls vertically on the water, ranging between Cala Sant Vicenç and Punta de la Sal. It ends in a rocky shore, where, on the left, we can see a small beach of pebbles and gravel coated in posidonia seaweed. The cove is 80 meters long and 15 meters wide.

Anchoring: This virgin sea inlet, open to winds from the north and northwest, has the best marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats between Cap de Formentor and Cala Tuent, including the fishermen which anchor their boats here. The depth on the sandy ground is between 3  (150 meters from the coast) and 2 meters close to the shore. Usually we drop anchor at a depth of 5 m.
