Description:

Caló des Màrmols is situated at 7,3 nautical miles from Port Marina Cala d'Or, between Cala Figuera and Olla dels Bastons. It is the last cove of the municipality of Santanyí. The name, like the torrent that flows into its water, although it is nearly always dry, comes from the white colour of the sand and rocks of which it is surrounded (màrmols means marble).

This pleasant and beautiful virgin beach is located between cliffs which rise up to 20 metres, giving it the form of a triangle, and with a breathtaking view over the archipelago of Cabrera. It is 40 meters long and 35 meters wide.

Anchoring: The clean and transparent water has a sandy ground with gravel and pebbles. The depth for anchoring ranges from three to four metres. It is exposed to the winds from east, southeast and south, so we recommend only anchor with calm sea and winds from W to N.

Because of the beautiful underwater scenery is an ideal place for practicing water sports, swimming or doing an excursion by kayak or dinghy.
