Description:

Platja de Camp de Mar is situated at 3,8 nautical miles from Club Nàutic Santa Ponça, between Platja de ses Dones and the impressive Cap Andritxol.

This sandy area with hotels in houses on the coastline is the end of a wide U-shaped sea inlet, and the beach is quite crowded by local visitors and tourists. Its length is 180 meters and its width is 60 meters.

In the centre of this bay there is a small island emerging from the water, known as la Illeta, with a narrow wood bridge to the beach. This big rock is the best attraction of this place.

Anchoring:The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are good. The beach is exposed to the wind blowing from the south, southwest and west. The navigator is recommended to anchor in the surroundings of the small island. There is a sandy ground with seaweed and a depth that ranges between four and five metres. You have to avoid only the entrance channel which is used by the passenger launches to reach this beach.
