Canyamel is situated at 3,8 nautical miles from Club Nàutic Cala Ratjada. The beach is beautiful and you can also visit the Coves (“caves”) d'Artà (450 metres wide and 310 metres long), the second most important in Majorca, situated in the cliffs of Cap Vermell. This fine-grained golden sandy area is located in front of a torrent, wich ends there.

Anchoring: The marine and underwater conditions of this beach, open to southeast, are excellent for anchoring boats, although it is not very sheltered from the storms. The depth ranges from four to five metres on a sandy ground, although the best option for anchoring boats is on the starboard side of the entrance, right in front of the cliffs of Cap Vermell.
